Alwoplast was founded in 1987 as a Chilean company under German management and located in Valdivia, Chile right at the entrance to the “roaring forties”. Our objective is to produce the finest custom built multihull, or the occasional monohull up to 100ft, delivering exceptional performance, robust durability, lower maintenance and superior standards of finish and fit out for a very competitive price.
There is no shortage of mainstream production vessels on the market and we are not in competition with the production builders. We are “one-off builders” catering to either the individual who is willing to invest in one of mankind’s last grand commissions: the private and truly customized yacht, or to the discriminating entrepreneur, looking for a cost effective, high performance commercial vessel.
To assure flexibility to explore a wide range of design and construction venues, our inhouse design and engineering staff maintains strategic alliances with the world’s finest architects and engineers.
